Akountify is evolving to stay compliant with ethical outreach methods and the guidelines associated with the platforms those happen on. As a result, we thought it necessary to inform all of our customers and potential ones what Akountify is all about and the terms of using our service. This article will cover what Akountify is, what it isn’t, and the problems we are trying to solve in the online world. 

What Akountify Is

• Akountify is a service that connects companies with freelancers we call “outreach agents” to help companies scale their outbound campaigns without having to spend fortunes in SDR salaries.

• Akountify emulates fractionally hiring an SDR (Sales Development Representative) or general Appointment Setter.

• Akountify is a middleman between the client and the outreach agent, helping only to connect and improve communication between the two. 

• Akountify is a guide, helping companies navigate outbound channels and follow their best practices. 

• Akountify also helps our outreach agents create a more professional personal brand online.

What Akountify Isn’t

• Akountify is not an automation tool or scraping bot, nor do any of our affiliated companies own such software. We also strictly prohibit the use of these tools. 

• Akountify is not a data collector, data scraping or data company. We don’t scrape nor have ever scraped any data, nor have instructed anyone to do so. 

• Akountify does not create any accounts, real or fake, nor do we sell accounts as many marketplaces online do. 

• Akountify does not accept crypto or ACH payments. We use certified payment processors that give our clients the ability to charge us back and get their money back at any given time if they feel unhappy with our service. 

• Akountify does not manually handle any outreach done but rather the assigned outreach agent is responsible for consistently doing so. 

What Problems Akountify Solves

Akountify is trying to solve the “outreach scalability” problem, making sales teams accessible to all types of companies, big and small. To do so, we have created a business model that connects vetted outreach agents with sales and marketing teams looking to scale their outbound campaigns. These vetted outreach agents are fractionally hired to reach out to potential customers and generate SQLs (sales qualified leads). Instead of fostering the use of prohibited automation tools that promise unlimited activity, we help companies reduce the risks by dividing their activity between outreach agents, organically and through human to human conversations. 

This model has allowed many freelancers across the globe to earn additional money every month they have been able to use to sustain their families and livelihoods. Akountify is leveraging the online economy and globalization to democratize these opportunities to freelancers across the globe.
